How To Know When To Get Married

Experts agree that if you wait to tie the knot until you're 25 your marriage has statistically better chances of being a success. The reasons for this come down to three main factors. These are education, money and the overall wisdom associated with having kissed a few frogs along the way.

It's a surprising fact but experts have established a relationship between how many years of education a woman has completed by the time she is married and the prospects for success of her marriage. In general, the more years of education a woman has completed, the greater chance that her won't end in divorce. The reasons for this are numerous. An educated woman is a confident woman who knows both who she is and what she wants. She isn't about to settle or compromise her goals just for a six pack and a winning smile.

If you wait to get married until you're 25 chances are that you're supporting yourself and you've been doing so for a while. So there's no pressure to get married just to put a roof over your head. An independent woman with her own money is less likely to stay with a man just for the creature comforts he can give her because she can provide these things for herself too. In addition learning how to take care of your own money will give you the skills needed to take care of the money you spend together as a couple for shared expenses. You will already have the experience of drawing up a budget and paying bills.

By the time you're 25 chances are that you will have kissed a few frogs in search of your Prince Charming. You will have learned what to look for in a guy and how to spot potential. That guy who broke your heart will have taught you a few key lessons about men and made you a stronger woman, better able to appreciate Mr. Right when you meet him.

If you wait to get married until you've got to know yourself better then you can pick someone who shares the same interests and outlook on life that you do.
